WEBELOS SPECIFIC EVENTS AND INFORMATION

Den 7 Webelos (Monkeys) 2004 Schedule

We are working towards earning our ARROW OF LIGHT in February 2005. In order to reach this goal each scout must complete eight activity badges. Three of the eight badges must be Fitness, Citizen and Readyman all of which we have completed in our meetings. In addition to these badges we have completed Showman, Forester and Geologist. This Fall we hope to complete Handyman, Outdoorsman and Naturalist as well as take a day hike, another requirement for Arrow of Light. An overnight camping trip for the whole pack is in the planning stages right now, more details will follow later.

*In addition to earning activity badges scouts need to memorize the Scout Law: A SCOUT IS TRUSTWORTHY, LOYAL, HELPFUL, FRIENDLY, COURTEOUS, KIND, OBEDIENT, CHEERFUL, THRIFTY, BRAVE, CLEAN, AND REVERENT.

We have been working on this in our meetings but please also help them with it at home.

MEETING SCHEDULE:

This meeting will be at the Ripley’s house.
*Please wear closed toe shoes! We will be working with tools.

Saturday October 9, 5:00-9:30 p.m. OUTDOORSMAN

This meeting will take place at DeAnza Cove. Scouts need to bring a jacket, we will be cooking our own meals so we will need food donations. We will contact you closer to the event with details.

Wednesday, November 3, 1:30-3:45 p.m. NATURALIST

This meeting will be held after school at Holmes.

Wednesday, December 1, 1:30-4:00 (approx.) p.m. HIKE
